Replace all cabinetry with 30 new cabinets; restore ceiling to nine foot height where possible ; enclose space above cabinets in cooking area; cover all walls with Sheetrock; replace all window panes; raise existing outlets to countertop height; remove existing ceiling fan from kitchen and install a remote-controlled fan in dining area; make and install trim, baseboards, etc. to country, yet modern styling; make pantry doors to mimic style of new cabinets; replace sink and faucet; install recessed LED lighting; install subway backsplash in cooking area; replace range hood with a vented microwave oven; and paint with two tones of grey.
